Frequently asked questions about the Norwegian courses

Do I need an account to see the courses and prices?

No. This whole page — levels, content, prices and exams — is public. You only need to sign in to access your lessons, save your progress and take the exams.

How are my answers graded?

By artificial intelligence: you write your answer in Norwegian and get grammar and vocabulary corrections, a concrete suggestion and a score, in every lesson and in the final exam.

Can I buy just one level, or do I have to pay for the whole course?

You can buy each level separately (A1, A2, B1 or B2), or a bundle that groups several levels at a lower price and already includes the matching certificates.

What happens if I do not pass the certified exam?

There is no limit on attempts: you can review the lessons of the level and retake the exam whenever you feel ready.

Is the SnakkTrygt certificate an official qualification?

No. It is SnakkTrygt's own certificate showing that you passed that level's exam, with a code anyone can use to verify it. The levels follow the Common European Framework (A1 to B2), but the certificate does not replace the official Norwegian test (Norskprøven) when a process in Norway requires it.
